About Emerald Valley

Emerald-Valley is about nurturing, encouraging and growing the entrepreneurs of tomorrow while helping indigenous companies expand and export beyond our shores.

Emerald-Valley is putting ideas into action, creating a space where like-minded people can achieve their full potential through hard work, networking, passion and creativity. Emerald-Valley will achieve this by pursuing three distinct but complementary strands:

Entrepreneurial Education – Working with young people primarily will raise the awareness of technology as a route to financial success. Implementing coder camps and clubs - supported by local software developers and entrepreneurs, generic events on business issues, bringing in the top notch speakers all will raise the bar on expectations and performance. We will showcase excellence over mediocrity.

Promoting our location – Increased visibility for key technology companies and VC funds in the city. Both new and small satellite offices for Belfast, Derry or Dublin based companies. The mission is to draw staff from the whole Island.

Developing export markets – Assisting indigenous companies, particularly in technology and renewables to market their IP / Products / Services globally and to develop the in-market networks to assist this aim.

The Emerald-Valley team has been doing research and creating networks since 2009. Connections have been made worldwide with some of the key influencers within technology markets, hugely successful entrepreneurs, Irish diaspora and foreign Governments.
